The EU general data protection regulation (GDPR) comes into force on May 25th 2018. This will be followed by a new data protection act in the UK. These new laws focus on Customer and Colleague privacy and data sensitivity. Any breach of these new regulations would have serious implications on our business so it’s important to make our customers aware of the updates to ensure they are adhered to at all times.

GDPR will strengthen the number of rights an individual hold. They will have more power to demand companies to reveal or delete the personal data they hold of them.

Clearly Interiors will only withhold the following data from the customer:

  • Home Address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Full order details

This information can only be accessed by staff or contractors working solely for Clearly Interiors Ltd and will only be shared to these persons when needed to, to undertake works. Personal and sensitive data will not be shared outside of the Clearly Interiors Ltd organisation. Clearly Interiors Ltd prefer to store this information for a minimum for 7 years to ensure ease of access and communication for any further correspondences. Personal data does not get used for any marketing purposes and full anonymous can be requested.

Our website uses customer case studies and any customer who wishes to partake in a case study discloses their name and location at their own accord. No further details of the customer are exposed to our website.

All payments are done through a trusted service and no payment details are stored in the process. Each transaction is treated uniquely.
